VTN Centre
Opened in 2009, the Fleet Solutions Test Centre is one of the most recent members of the Vehicle Testing Network (VTN). The network of test centres are appointed in each County by the relevant Local Authority (in our case, Dublin City Council) and is regulated by the Road Safety Authority. Unlike the National Car Test (NCT), it is mandatory for commercial vehicles to be tested yearly. There are two classifications of vehicles, Light Goods Vehicles (up to an including 3500Kgs gross vehicle weight) and Heavy Goods Vehicles (above 3500Kgs gross vehicle weight).
The purpose of the network is to provide a strong and vibrant network of test centres which are required to operate to the highest international standards.
